Along with my general aversion to Turkey Hamburgers, I too am not a fan of Turkey Meatloaf. I truly would not have ever tried making one were it not for the skyrocketing price of ground beef due to the coronavirus. Therefore it was my goal to make the most moist and delicious version I could.

Turkey being a healthier protein than ground beef, has much less fat. That fat gives beef a juicier tastier quality. In order to make my turkey meatloaf moist and tasty I added; Extra Virgin Olive Oil, a good fat, lots of onions, cilantro, mushrooms, all to add moisture and seasonings to create something worthy of asking for seconds.

I love this recipe and may never go back to making meatloaf with ground beef. Even better the pickiest taste testers in the world, my children love it.

The Moistest Turkey Meatloaf Ever

1 Pound Ground Turkey

1 Large Onion, finely chopped

10 Ounce Jar of Mushrooms, drained and finely chopped

½ bunch of Cilantro, finely minced

1 Tablespoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil

1 Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce

1 teaspoon Paprika

½ teaspoon Salt

¼ teaspoon Fresh Ground Black Pepper

1.Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees. In a large mixing bowl, stir together the onions, mushrooms, cilantro, olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, salt and pepper.

Add ground turkey and mix together. We prefer to use our hands and the kids have fun with this step. 

2. Once the ingredients are completely mixed together add it to an un-greased 9″ x 4″ loaf pan

and bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour until edges are golden brown. Let sit for 5 minutes on a cooling rack before serving.

Instructions
